The Uruguayan team is the pride of a whole county. These players are the ones who told us to never give up. The team who made our country get closer, create that feeling of nationality that was thought to be lost. Moreover they demonstrated fair play and respect to their coach, and the other teams.
The Uruguayan team demonstrated to us that everything is possible if you work hard to get it. As we could see, Lodeiro for instance, he played the last game even when his foot was broken. Also, they showed us, in the soccer game against The Netherlands, that everything is possible by making their last goal on the remaining minutes of the game. When they came back from the World Championship we all showed our appreciation by throwing a huge parade in their honor and also by sticking with them while they were giving their speeches and when they were receiving their medals.
Over all, they were the best we could ever hope for. They represent our country honestly, faithfully and respectfully. We can not be disappointed with their achievement; they did everything that was in their hands to do. This was not the end, it was just the beginning.
